DELHI, the place of the Seven Cities Real
The Indian Capital during 800 years ‘where sultan after sultan waited in their destination and made their way’. The court of the glorious mughals. The citadel of british Raj. And, today, the headquarters of the democracy more extensive of the world.
The place of a continuing settlement from the time legendary Indrapastha, the capital aria in the year l000 to.C. , whose remains have been discovered by archaeologists in the battlements of Purana Angola or Old Fortress. Edging down the river Yamuna yet persist the ruins of the cities real medieval, forts and palaces, shrines and doors, constructed poi a dynasty after another to create a Delhi more splendid than the previous one.
The tomb of Humayun is an example splendid primitive Mughal architecture. It is a precedent of the Taj Mahal which consists of a main building and a beautiful garden. Is the only building built by a wife in memory of her husband, in this case, the second emperor mughal.
Shahjahanabad or Delhi Old is the walled city of the seventeenth century, lifted by the emperor mughal Shah Jahan, with its maze of narrow streets, avenues and bazaars. The magnificiente Red Fort, sandstone colorada, is replete with cameras, indoors marble carving: Diwan-i-Am, Diwan-i-Khas, Rang Mahal, Moti Masjid and Sheesh Mahal. The palaces of Strong Red had a stream where ran perfumed water to create an aura of paradise. The beauty of this whole environment led to say to a poet: “If there is a paradise on earth, is this… is this… is it.’
Turning the road to the brink of an extension of grassland greens, highlights the imposing Jama Másjid, a glory in red stone and marble.
Unexpectedly, between the monuments of the Delhi Old, appears the fabulous Chandni Chowk (the Calle de la Plata), at times the richest of the world, and even today, populated with gold.
Not far from the bustle of the Delhi Old are the mayestáticas, comprehensive and shaded avenues of the complex imperial Lutyens and Baker, built in the heyday of british Raj. Projected in 1911, changing the capital city of Calcutta to Delhi, the city New Delhi was mapped with such anticipation that even today, more than 50 years later, can absorb the expansion with grace. Among the tombs and mausoleums in remembrance of the noble and the kings rulers, is the Delhi embodied by the english, with gardens immaculados, bungalows colonial widely spaced, the sweeping symmetry of that beautiful avenue, Rajpath, which passes in front of Parliament big, right until the solid doors of Rashtrapati Bhavan, once residence regia of the viceroys, and now as the President of India.
In this art of Delhi, the tombs and temples are accompanying of buildings of great appeal. As the Qutab Minar, 13th century, in sandstone and marble, intended to be a tower to call to prayer to believers. The mosque Said-ul-lslam, ‘Power of Islam,” the mosque oldest of India. In the vicinity are stands the single Column of Iron, the open air and, however, free of oxide for 1,600 years. Jantar Mantar, a magnificent observatory with instruments of masonry, built by the king of Rajput, Jai Singh, an engineer, mathematician and astronomer.
Still is here to be seen this slow progress in the history carved in stone. The picture of the history changes toward independent India. On the banks of the river Yamuna are the beautiful memorials, peaceful, Mahatma Gandhi, the Prime Ministers, Jawaharlal Nehru and Lal Bahadur Shastri-Raj Ghat, Shanti varies and Vijay Ghat. The Museum near Gandhi tells the story of the great leader of India, and the Museum Nehru, on the Teen Murti Marg, spoke of the man who molded the first years of independent India.
Delhi account with international airport and national, and well communicated with cities around the world. The airlines ‘Indian Airlines’ reported Delhi with all the important populations of India. Delhi is also well communicated by train with the majority of places of India. From Delhi can travel by road to major cities in India. From Delhi to Agra there are 203 kms.; to Chandigarh, 238 kms.; to Jaipur 250 kms.; to Corbett National Park, 300 kms. You can rent luxury taxis, taxis and tourist buses. There are also taxis with theamount, ‘rickshaws’ motor and bus services. ITDC and DTDC organized daily visits of Delhi and excursions with a guide to Agra and Jaipur. The tourist office of the Government of India is now at 88, Janpath, New Delhi-110001. Tel. 320005.

In the first place, it should have all the information as possible on the destination chosen, and able to prepare a route to facilitate the visit of the selected locations; the internet is a good way to do as well as magazines of travel, encyclopedias, supplements tours of some newspapers or updated maps. Equally important the able to verify if the city or country to visit, will provide basic guarantees of security when they finally what traversed.
In that sense, it will be thus undesirable currently travel to Greece by the economic crisis, social and institutional that crosses; there will be in the future the opportunity to assess the various attractions of the country greek. As well as to certain parts of Mexico, for the crime and drug trafficking which in turn suffers.

Oasis of the seas, the cruise the world’s largest
On 5 December 2009 will give his first official trip the cruise “Oasis of the Seas”, of Royal Caribbean. A cruise ship with 361 meters long and space for 6,300 passengers, which makes it the cruise the world’s largest until the present (is 5 times larger than the Titanic).
Today, the official online “The Sacramento Bee” made a special photo on the boat, with photos of very good quality of the Oasis of the Seas, that a week ago was in Fort Lauderdale (south Florida) for the curious who wanted closer to know him.
The Oasis of the Seas was completed in September 2009 and on board has, among other things, the following:
* Restaurants of luxury.
* Bars and cafes.
* Theaters of three or more covered
* Spa and fitness center.
* Library.
* Playing Basketball.
* Video Arcade (with Guitar Hero and all).
* Mini-Golf.
* Aquatic Park.
* The famous flow rider (for surfing with waves artificial).
* Ice skating on ice.
* Walls to climb.
* Art Gallery.
* The pool of largest freshwater installed in a boat (6.6 x 15.7 meters).
In addition, there are “small neighborhoods” that simulate large cities within the same boat, with sectors of parks, tropical plants, palm trees, and other natural decorations.
In its various floors and spaces giants, the Oasis of the Seas gives the possibility of several different travels. Since relax the sun or in the different pools, to make sports, something of adventure or same look a good show in the theater. AND everything in the same day and without travel kilometers between one and another activity.
In its two major “walks” (one to the interior, the “Royal Prominade” and one abroad “Central Park”) have bars, cafes, restaurants, and different areas of relaxation or entertainment.
If you for that was once in a cruise is surprising and until incredible, for my than ever in my life traveled in one, it is almost as science fiction.
So in the absence of urn dollars to buy a ticket, i invite you to travel in the Oasis of the Seas even for photos. In the post there are some, and the rest (in very good quality) can be seen on the web of Sacramento Bee.
In addition, as triumphant, I found a video journal, in English and in high definition, above the boat. If an obvious the performance (and the tone of voice at times particular) of the “conductive”, the video has its own.
As the margin: the conductive is the winner of a contest of Royal Caribbean. Commanded a video to be “Reporter of the High Seas”, won, and there is. Won also English, one American, and a Canadian. There are more videos of them and the ship in the channel of YouTube of Royal Caribbean.

The hotel more expensive of the world: Marina Bay Sands
The people who make hotels seem bewitch this of records. We saw the currently is the tallest hotel of the world, the Burj Dubai, we saw one of the most luxurious of the world, the Burj Al Arab, and now opened the hotel more expensive of the world: the Marina Bay Sands Hotel.
The Marina Bay Sands, is a complex of Casino Hotel that is in Singapore, and that drew the attention in these days by having one of the pools more strangely of the world too.
It is called “Infinity Pool”, and has more than 150 meters and is located on the floor 55 (about 250 meters in height). What makes the pool the world’s largest at that altitude (obviously), and it is at a hearing like this:

St. Petersburg and their White Nights: the Midnight Sun more fun
St. Petersburg is a big city, nothing of mysticism or tranquility, but much of exoticism of this, of a western culture but distinct, and monuments impressive well deserve a long visit.
Everything is splendid in this city: from the Museum of Hermitage, one of the largest galleries of the world, until the broad boulevards that in the summer resumed their life in a beautiful game of green in the big trees that the bordering. Everything is huge, but even more when it comes to sunset.
During the White Nights, St. Petersburg is a feast. Offered music festivals and ballet of court classic. AND also music concerts current with timetables adapted to the no-night, schedules to which it joined without doubt the bars and restaurants, also taking the opportunity to forget the ice and snow.
And as fiesta end, why not a boat private by the Neva? Everything is possible in a city that shines.
